Post-secondary Education

There are options in Simcoe County for individuals to continue their education beyond the secondary school level. These options are available in both English and French. This level of learning is often referred to as “post-secondary education.” 

There are different forms of post-secondary education available in Simcoe County. It is important you research the different options and understand if they can help you reach your goals. For example, different employers require different levels of education; if you have a particular employment goal, you will want to choose the right type of school and program to help you achieve that goal.

You will also want to research the specific school you are applying to. Generally, schools specialize in different types of programs. You will want to be sure the program you select helps you achieve your long-term goals.
